This series began as a part of my healing process after the loss of my dear mom, Carmen M Frank.

She left behind countless art supplies, mediums and tools in our shared art studio.

Inspired during the early spring days, as the beautiful garden she left in my care, began to come back

to life, I began to pick up her watercolor brushes....began to experiment with her encaustic pigments and

little by little, stitch by stitch, my grief turned into joy as I dove deeper into my creativity.
