This collection “Gardening with loved ones” was created to honor the love, artistry and creativity of those who came before us. My mom and I shared a special bond through Art, whether it was going to a museum, creating it in our studio or selling beautiful crafts made by amazing artisans in our shop in Brooklyn so many moons ago. We also loved gardening, and spending time outdoors in nature. These are treasured moments I keep close to my heart. Every spring, I like to feature her botanical art in her honor. It reminds me to strive to be a more dedicated artist, to stay curious and keep on learning, to stay open to joy and exploration and to keep in touch with friends and family, especially when our days seem too overwhelming and our schedules too full.
May we always strive to honor those who came before us, the love, hopes and dreams they showered us with will make our days blossom so much brighter.
