The original mixed media artwork was created applying layers of mixed media. Watercolors, inks, wax & oil crayons and graphite.

It was painted during a change of seasons, as summer turns to fall. A feeling of nostalgia for what we had crosses roads with one of hope and intrigue as we look further into the future of what is to come.

The way your eye travels through the surface, following a line or a brushstroke, and then finding a different path by connecting color and space, replicates the artistic process of the artist. This flow and exploration of the eye and mind represents a mindset and way of life, being open and inquisitive to life's endless possibilities.

Following meditative and time techniques to keep the mind as disconnected as possible during the art process, layers of watercolor are applied, followed by more layers. Attaining moments of pure artistic intuition, these layers of color and mark making build up as the artist finds and creates a narrative to the work with the interwoven play of color, line, composition and media. These watercolors blend the subconscious and artistic intuition of the artist with periods of more aware and conscious artistic detailing of the piece.

This artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by the artist. Limited Edition numbered. Gold paint details are applied individually by hand to each metal print, adding an extra touch and dimension from the artist and making each piece unique.
